Our
spectrumWARE and zigbeeWARE radios are din rail modules providing
wireless radio frequency transmission using spread spectrum frequency
hopping technology. The spectrumWARE spread spectrum radios operate in the 900 MHz range, are non-licensed, and can operate over 50 miles with line of sight.
The spectrumWARE SS radios can communicate with zigbeeWARE mesh radios
in addition to most serial or Ethernet devices providing network
bridges for wired to wireless systems. Our zigbeeWARE radios can
communicate with other zigbeeWARE radios within a 1-mile radius without
requiring any external antennas. Since our zigbeeWARE radios were
designed to utilize the new IEEE ZigBee protocol, these radios are
deterministic, offer 256 AES encryption, and can forward messages from
other nearby radios if configured in a "mesh" design.
Both
the spectrumWARE and zigbeeWARE radio products are
protocol-independent, meaning that they mirror any communications that
enter the COM ports. These radios do not require any software or
programming, since the radios are simply a wire replacement. There is
no change required to any SCADA database settings or internal register
mapping required with either the spectrumWARE or zigbeeWARE radios. We
also manufacture protocol gateway converters, routers, embedded OPC
servers, and many other communications devices used for industrial
automation networks. All of our devices also support high-availability
and can be configured with a primary and secondary communications path.
