energyWARE Energy Management Suite (energyWARE) is an enterprise energy management system that is designed to help manage energy and facilities. energyWARE provides a bundled solution of hardware and software that provides connectivity to metering technologies and other third-party systems and devices. It also enables energy and facility managers to manage these systems in real - time using any client-browser, thus providing significant operational and energy savings. Fully client-browser based, intuitive navigation tools make it easy to get the information when you need it, and where you need it. The energyWARE Management Suite provides real-time monitoring of devices, historical data archiving, trending and a series of profiling and cost reports developed from time-series data and models to provide the most accurate and reliable data reporting for the enterprise.
The suite is based on a core framework for real-time control, and data acquisition and encompasses both high-level process control based on the Control Ware processMANAGER control language IEC-1131 configuration languages with the NiagaraAX Framework for fully scalable building automation. The suite consists of hardware to acquire data and display it in both real-time and historical for most enterprise devices such as electric, water, steam, gas meters, HVAC, chiller, and other energy related equipment to a fully integrated software application suite for display and reporting of real-time data and reporting. Process control applications are configured in either of two application programming languages namely Control Ware processMANAGER IEC-1131-6 programming suite or the NiagaraAX application programming languages. The two applications are seamlessly integrated with the Control Ware energyWARE Energy Management Suite framework. The unique differences between energyWARE and other energy management applications is that energyWARE provides for both real-time control for all process enterprise with energy management and a sophisticated time-series based reporting application. Now conventional PLCs, DCS systems are not separate systems within the enterprise along with building automation systems. The two merge as one within the Control Ware enterprise suite system. energyWARE integrates the real-time control, human-man-machine interface (HMI) and highly specialized reporting system in to one enterprise system. Through the use of client-browser based user interface there is no need for installed software running on user computers. All interaction between the user and energyWARE is through the Control Ware operatorMANAGER network stations.
Extensive communications drivers and protocols are available for most leading manufacturers and industry networks consisting of Modbus, BACnet, LONworks, Profibus, DNP, OPC, among others.
